Nick Foles is one of the NFL’s most valuable assets, and at just 30 years old, he has amassed a pretty impressive backstory.
Born in Austin, Texas, Foles began his football career in Arizona at college level, before being drafted in by the Philadelphia Eagles, in the 2012 NFL Draft, third round. In addition to a successful career with the Eagles, Foles has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the St Louis Rams. It was recently announced that Foles would continue into his 30s, playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars at Quarterback.

The Jaguars deal is reported to be worth a huge $88 million, with a guarantee of $50,120,000. That makes Foles’ annual salary an eye-watering $22 million! This doesn’t include his relatively new apparel endorsement with Lululemon as mentioned by Esquire, and royalties from his book ‘Believe it: My Journey of Success, Failure, and Overcoming The Odds’.
Over his career, Foles has earned around $31.93 million, spanning seven successful seasons in the NFL, and this puts Foles at 368th in all NFL players in 2018.
Throughout his career, Foles has won plaudits for his professional approach, but it is in his personal life where he has attracted an equal amount of attention. Having married Toni Moore in 2014, his wife was diagnosed with a rare blood flow disorder called postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, or POTS for short. This condition is often misdiagnosed and is usually mistaken for depression. Despite this diagnosis, the couple welcomed a daughter, Lily James Foles in 2017.
With a new team and a new season ahead of him, Foles expects success with the Jaguars, and with his past style of play and plaudits won, it’s hard to see that changing. Despite a long and successful past career with the Philadelphia Eagles, Foles’ signing with the Jaguars means he is no longer at risk of being a free agent for the coming season, something which many wanted him to avoid, considering his age. The future looks very bright indeed from this point onwards, and the Jaguars are expecting big things from Foles, for sure and his net worth will certainly be increasing.
