There are few athletes with as much future promise as Chloe Kim. At just 17 years old, Kim won the prestigious gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, in the snowboard halfpipe event. Chloe Kim looking hot at the Nickelodeon event in 2019

Having started snowboarding at the tender age of just 4 years old, Kim has her father to thank for the support and guidance given to her in her sporting endeavours. With Korean parents, Kim is also gifted in languages, speaking English as her first language, as well as Korean and French.

With a happy go lucky attitude and a likeable demeanour, Kim is certainly the queen of her event, and she is the youngest athlete to ever gold medal run win. She is also the youngest to appear on the front page of Sports Illustrated, something many athletes wait years for!

Whilst the Olympic gold is certainly her biggest achievement today, it’s not the only one, with several illustrious titles to her name. Kim won gold four times in the Winter X Games, and it is certainly her strong will to win which has seen her reach such dizzy heights at a young age. Think about it – three gold medals, all before 16 years of age, that’s impressive! She is also the holder of a few other records, as the first woman to achieve 1080 spins back to back, and the first to score a 100 in the US Grand Prix.

Burton Sponsor

With all this success, it is easy to forget that Kim is still to turn 18, and when she does, grabs are on for her endorsement signature. She uses a Burton Snowboard. Prior to the Olympic success, Kim was signed to Burton, Oakley, and Nike, and she has been with these companies since she was just 13 years old. Whether this remains to be the case, we will see, but there are sure to be more than these three trying to catch her signature in a few months’ time. In the past, she has also had deals with Visa, Mondelez, Toyota, Samsung, and Monster Energy, to name the main ones. With her 18th birthday looming in April 2019, these deals are all on the table, either to be renewed or released.

The future certainly looks very bright indeed for Chloe Kim!
